Essex County OB/GYN offers preventative, diagnostic, and acute care for a wide range of reproductive health concerns. Each one of us, including our board-certified OB/GYNs, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, genuinely cares about our patients.

At every stage of your health journey we strive to make your health care accessible, personalized, and thorough. For your convenience we offer weekday, evening, and weekend appointments. Your care team can be reached online through MyLaheyChart or by phone for time sensitive questions. Patients who are in labor or who have urgent gynecologic needs can speak with a provider 24 hours a day. From adolescence – when the body is transitioning into maturity – to the need for a personalized contraception solution, infertility guidance, prenatal care, and menopause, Essex County OB/GYN is extremely experienced in treating all reproductive health-related conditions and meeting one’s individual needs with personalized, expert care.

Teens

Teens can visit an OB/GYN for help with managing periods or contraception.

Twenties & Thirties

We recommend an annual checkup for cervical and sexual health, birth control, and fertility guidance.

Forties

Annual checkups & testing are encouraged for this age. Monitor the transition from childbearing years to perimenopause & menopause.

Menopause & Beyond

Menopausal and postmenopausal women should have routine gynecological checkups and PAP smears.
