Because of your GE Health Choice plan coverage, you may be eligible for a program that gives you access to the North Shore’s leading provider of obstetrical services, navigating you through pregnancy to birth and beyond. The Maternity Care Select Program Partners include Beverly Hospital, Essex County OB/GYN Associates, and the North Shore Birth Center. Our goal is to provide a path to delivery of the highest quality for you and your baby.

Enhanced Maternity Benefit

The program benefit for eligible members is 100% coverage of routine prenatal care and delivery costs for Option 1 and Option 2 members. If you are an Option 3 member, coverage is 100% once you have satisfied your annual deduction. For more information, please contact HealthCoach from GE. Should you or your baby require special care or an extended hospital stay, additional costs may apply, and if applicable, will be subject to the GE Health Choice Plan.

Broad Access to Care

Beverly Hospital, Essex County OB/GYN Associates, and the North Shore Birth Center are the largest providers of obstetrical services in the region, welcoming over 2,200 babies each year. You can feel assured with your care as we are prepared for all levels of delivery from normal childbirth to high risk with a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care unit. We also offer a robust perinatal program including the Breast Feeding Boutique and extensive maternity education. With the largest local network of physicians and midwives, eligible GE Health Choice members will have access to a network of over 29 experts in maternity services located throughout the North Shore.

Maternity Nurse Concierge

The role of the Maternity Concierge is to serve as your point of contact to the Beverly Hospital Maternity Care Select system of care and to ensure that you have an exceptional experience throughout your pregnancy. The Maternity Concierge will coordinate appointments, maternity education classes and provide answers and guidance throughout your pregnancy.
