Qualifications & Education
I received my Bachelor of Arts from UMass Amherst with a degree in Classics and Anthropology. I completed my midwifery training at the Yale School of Nursing where I earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Prior to nursing school, I taught prenatal yoga.
I am passionate about trauma-informed care, gender equity in healthcare, and reproductive justice. Respecting people’s bodily autonomy, while providing a safe environment for labor is foundational in my practice. My goal every day is to make patients feel seen and heard.
Why do you love what you do?
I love making connections and the shared learning from long conversations with patients.
Why did you choose Essex County OB/GYN?
I chose Essex County OBGYN because of the fantastic team of providers and midwives.
Outside of work, you'll find me...
at the beach, floating down a river on a paddleboard, or buying yet another book from her local bookstore.
My current top 3 reads
On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Marcia Marquez, and The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak
