Personal Points
Why do you love what you do?
As a physician specializing in reproductive health, I enjoy caring for patients of all ages. It is a privilege to serve people through all their major transitions - adolescence, pregnancy, the midlife, and the menopausal transition. In my addiction practice, I have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients in recovery from substance use and to see them thrive with the support of our care team. And I love birthdays! Watching people transform before my eyes when they meet their babies will forever be an amazing experience.
Why did you choose Essex County OB/GYN?
When I went to my interview dinner, all the providers were sharing their food across the table. Working together is a critical part of successful medical practice, and a team that breaks bread together is a team that works well together. I completely trust my colleagues with my patients' care and we all strive to stay up to date with contemporary medical knowledge and to provide outstanding patient care.
Outside of work, you'll find me...
reading a good novel, spending time with my family, and walking along the ocean with friends
Favorite North Shore spot
Everywhere. The North Shore is full of interesting towns and people and I love living and working in this community.
Tell us one interesting thing about you
Before I went to medical school I worked in medical journal publishing, including for the Journal of Neurosurgery!
